Cotulla, TX -
On March 24, 2021, the City Of Cotulla council members broke ground for the new city storage tank. The 200,000 gallon storage tank is expected to be complete by January of 2022. The tower will sit at 165 feet high, and 36 feet wide. It's estimated cost will be $1.5 million. It will also have a 10'x10' picture of the Cotulla High School Cowboys logo.
City Mayor, Javier Garcia, said the tank will increase storage capacity, and increase water pressure through the city, which will help in case of another natural disaster. The mayor also wants to thank the staff and council members for their duty in helping break ground for the new city project.
